Return of the rhyme scheme

I generally write far more free verse poetry but I still like to dabble in rhyme schemes.  Check out this little number:

ENIGMA

One day closer to death

To retirement of need

Found angel’s gilded breath

Ten million as they feed

Spilling abject motion

Against the placid wall

Coursing through black ocean

Awaiting captain’s call

Sire lend me your siren

Remove your broken ear

Learn me like a hymen—

A virgin to my fear

Searching for something lost

Enthusiasm’s ghost

A black sea holocaust

Eliminates the host
